James is a comedy writer based in Yorkshire (ye like the pudding haha). He's been writing comedy since 2011 and has written jokes, sketches and additional material for lots of TV shows including Shooting Stars (BBC2), Russell Howard's Good News (BBC2), Mock the Week (BBC2) and Celebrity Juice (ITV2); as well as children's shows such as Class Dismissed (CBBC) and Gigglebiz (Cbeebies).
He's also had material on BBC radio shows such as The Show What You Wrote (series 1 & 2, BBC Radio 4 Extra) and Newsjack (BBC Radio 4 Extra).
In addition to writing for TV and radio, James has developed concepts for comedy creators; working with brands to write viral content for Tiktok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook.
He's also written about 50 wedding speeches (for other people, not himself lol)
James is currently writing a 5-part scripted comedy series for BBC Radio 4 that will air in 2024. But he's available for work if ya need him.
